Have you noticed that the marketing (aka: platform) professionals keep adding things to our “must do” list?
It started with blogs, then it was Facebook, now it’s Twitter. With everything that we do to market our books, it’s not a surprise that at times actual writing can take a back seat. So what can we do?
Simplify.

Simplifying might create more chaos in the beginning, but after the initial brouhaha, the pay off is totally worth it.
When it doubt…simplify!

Such good advice! Makes me feel less guilty for not spending time on Facebook, cuz I just don’t love it. Just got back from a writing retreat with no internet, no phone, and no tv. Got more writing done in a week then in a month at home. Guess I simplified without realizing it:)
